An exposed 1/4" thick hinge plate, dimensionally identical to the side of the tailgate and when installed is welded to the stake pocket. When painted the same color as the bed is virtually invisible. This product fits Chevs 1941 - 1953 & Fords 1937 - 1972 with original style tailgates.
Included in the HIDING HINGE package are:
2 hinge plates
2 plastic trunions (install in bottom roll of tailgate)
